Islam had a different agenda, taking Judaism and altering its stories to create a theocracy in Medina as well as using warfare to subjugate the Arabian Peninsula, which was originally polytheistic. It created its own God named Allah as the supreme being. Anyone who did not go along with this was subjugated, punished, and considered, as they were repeatedly called, the “Unbeliever”.
